With today's eclipse ushering in a powerful cycle of rebirth & renewal, 🌗🌘🌑🌒it is the perfect time to reexamine all areas of our lives and determine what--and WHO--needs to stay, or be released with love. So many of us spend hours selecting photos, hashtags & quotes, or tweaking the filters on our IG photos, but don't think about putting that laser focus on the people we choose to surround ourselves with IRL. Which is a little backwards, when you think about it. So, over the next few days (and beyond) really think about who is in your circle, why they are there, how you FEEL in their presence, the level of respect & reciprocity in your interactions, and so on. Really analyze it. And then edit your circle accordingly. ✂️✂️✂️
I'm grateful to be a part of such a special @sofarsounds @sofarvegas @amnesty event. Thousands of artists in hundreds of homes…for the millions forced to flee theirs. A global act of welcome. Visit sofarsounds.com/giveahome for a chance to win tickets to this exclusive show.
Sometimes Instagram can be annoying especially when people post things "for the gram" to gain popularity but we all know they frontin 😂😂😂. I am tired of seeing that push up bra and people who had surgery advertise flat tummy tea and say that's how they lost weight. Comment below what is something you would like to stop seeing on Instagram.
You could fail, or succeed but you feel right about taking it. If you listen to God's will and move forward with faith then there is a guarantee. You will get exactly what you need from that life experience.
This world has allowed emotions to seem like we are weak. Being madly in love with your significant has become a sign of being whipped. Is it really a bad thing to give your heart to someone ? No . Is letting out our feeling and expressing our thoughts a sign of being a coward ? No . Don't become what this world is trying to teach us. There is nothing more courageous or bold then spilling your heart out. I love nothing more than someone spilling their soul to me.

So that was anticlimactic. For some reason, I was expecting total darkness with owls and crickets singing, but we got more of a not-even-almost-dusk effect here in NC 😕🌚🌝 Am I the only person that fought the urge to look at the sun all day though? I thought my kids would be the problem - tell them not to look at the sun, and worry that that's the first thing they do... but instead it was me! I found myself trying to move just a tiny part of one eye so I could see the sky for myself and not through a gummy snack box pinhole. But my love for vision restrained me and, instead, I stared at the ground all day looking for crescent shadows. 😞
In ANY case, speaking of shiny things, I wanted to remind y'all that we've giving one of these pretties away. Make sure you scroll your booties back in the feed to the collage and enter. Drawing the winner Wednesday!
Now back to scrolling through my feed to see what other people got to see today. ☹️🌘
These words were spoken by Fred Rogers (aka Mr. Rogers) at Middlebury’s Commencement address in 2001. I love these words because they not only capture my feelings for my home state, but they also help set the stage for the visual stories you’ll see here - the beautiful, interesting, delicious looks at Vermont’s creative capital. I hope to show the difference that Vermont makes.
