One culture considers the animal on the left to be food. They torture and kill dogs and cats. They believe it's their right to do so. They've been doing it for years, so that must make it ok. 🤔
Other cultures consider the animal on the right to be food. They torture them. They impregnate them only to take the mothers newborn baby and kill it too.
That same culture believes cows are magical nutrients needed for our health and development. That same culture also believes the skin of this animal must be used for fashion and furniture because who doesn't want to lay on the skin of a tortured killed animal!!!
The culture that believes dogs and cats are to be tortured and eaten, also skins the animals and they sell the skins to many countries without knowledge of which skin the animals came from so that's ok too.
One culture is open with their brutality. The other culture thinks its best to turn a blind eye because thats been working for decades.
Well, it's not working anymore.
This is 2017. If you still feed animals to your body, don't be crying the blues about the Yulin Festival because the animal on the right suffers as much as the animal on the left.
Be mindful of your choices and please make the connection.
Plant based alternatives are everywhere. More and more restaurants are adding plant based options to their menu. Dairy farms are switching to plant based dairy. The medical professionals have also proven that animal proteins are causing cancer to humans.
So if you're concerned about the dog meat festival known as Yulin, take a look in your fridge and maybe sign a petition with yourself to also be against animal cruelty to ALL ANIMALS. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
