My reflection drawing after a session with a client who experienced anxiety quite physically. Being attuned to your physical reaction is meaningful work in treating anxiety as body is relatively easier to calm down than your mind. With anxiety, people commonly report chest pain, racing heart, tight shoulder, restlessness, etc. I reflected on lightheadedness and hand shaking (like bird flapping!🕊) .

#ElectricalStimulation !!! ⚡️⚡️Neck and shoulder pain often go together! This week we are going to touch on a bit of both! The purpose of this video is to illustrate that to fix the actual cause of your neck/shoulder pain, you will have to address your current posture and movement patterns. You can’t expect electrical pads, meds💊, ice❄️, heat🔥, massage💆, adjustments☠️, etc to improve your chronic pain because none of those things actually address why you are moving like dog shit.💩 .
Electrical modalities can be extremely helpful for relearning movement patterns after an acute injury or surgery. A constant stream of electrical stimulation can also help to mask pain and allow you to perform your rehabilitation without having to focus on the pain. What many people make the mistake of doing is just wearing these things and not taking advantage of that pain relief. .
This week we will be touching on a couple neck/shoulder stretches 🤸♀️as well as various strengthening exercises💪. We have done many basic neck/shoulder strengthening exercises in the past, so this week we will cover more advanced topics. I could say I'm almost 20 because I am but my soul is ageless... I am as old as the farthest galaxy, as old as a dying star AND IF I CAN MAKE IT THROUGH THE DARK TUNNEL SO CAN YOU! Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE seriously MIND OVER MATTER. And if you want change LITERALLY YOU CAN MAKE THE CHANGE STARTING NOW! Fuck I'm so happy right now and I want my voice to prevail so maybe someone can use it to their advantage THE KNOWLEDGE TO LIVE COMPASSIONATELY IS IN YOUR BRAIN ITS JUST UP TO YOU TO INTUNE AND UNLOCK MORE. if you're reading this and you need someone to vent to, advice, or just someone to call...
