Is there a such thing as an extroverted extrovert? The more I read about "extroverted introverts" the more I realize how spot on the word extrovert in describing my personality. Yesterday I was left alone for 10 minutes (😂😫) and immediately started brainstorming what I could do and who I could hang out with. I literally HATE being alone!!! Shout out to @alyssasilverman for keeping me company at the pool + @fitbritla_ and @weezy_wee for including me in #bowlgoals at @sweetgreen sunset strip (officially opened today!!). How would you classify yourself? Is there anyone else out there who is a legit 100% full blooded extrovert?!?! 🙋🏼
Week 3 is underway >>> now, it may have taken 79 minutes to complete my 45 minute workout but ITS DONE! 👊🏼 My kiddos were needy on a super-powered level tonight (does the solar eclipse have that effect??? Is that a thing??) soooo I had to pause it just a couple or like 7 times... tis' life tho. I love 'em anyway. 💟
Pushing myself to a HIGH CARB MEAL... Really hard for me today with my recent struggles. Grains and fats/oils are huge fear food of mine that has been rekindled the last few months. But hey, i've almost eaten a WHOLE BAGEL, AND milk with cookies. 😊😊😊

Fun fact about me - I am currently prepping for my first bikini competition 😳 Which, for those of you who don't know, is a physique competition based on muscle definition, balance/shape, etc. So basically I'll be on stage wearing this BEAUTIFUL bikini and heels, sporting a dark orange spray tan 🤘🏾I am beyond excited and so in love with my bikini! 6 months ago, I dreaded the word Monday.
It meant going back to the office for an 8 hour work day...counting down the hours until I got home.
And Sunday evening, forget about being happy about tomorrow because your weekend is OVER and you need to prep yourself mentally for the workday ahead.
I'll be honest. I still have Monday dread loom over me Sunday night. I still count down the hours of my day while I'm at work on Monday but not just to go home.
NOW, I'm excited to go home so I can connect with my team.
I get to connect with woman who live in the US and Canada LIVE and I get to learn from the leaders of our team about how to do better and be better than I was yesterday...than I was an hour ago...30 minutes ago! We can all improve ourselves.

Today has been hot dirty shit. You don't even wanna know. Honest. So let's all think of a happier time. When you had to have an emergency poop in a public place and it wasn't half bad. When you maybe even enjoyed it a bit? If you noticed my wine glass is empty and that means I'm working on cutting down on my red wine. I read online that lemon essential oils can help so I decided to put it my glass instead. I'm pretty proud of myself it's detrimental to my fitness goals. I need the accountability. 🍷

My postpartum weight loss journey hasn't been easy and it hasn't happened over night, but I have been patient and committed to loving and looking after myself and I think my result show that 👊🏼💪🏼.
Being at home with my two young boys during the day, studying at Uni full time, working nights, working out and just general mummy duties around the house and obviously wife's duties 😂 I am almost constantly busy and rarely get a moment to myself. I could complain about how hard it is to fit it all in and the challenges that I face, but life is hard for everyone in one way or another. So when the boys are terribly sick or being really naughty driving me crazy, I just remind myself that I'm grateful I have these two boys and that I get to be at home with them everyday. Or when I'm completely exhausted from being up with my sick boys all night and just wish I could go to bed I'm grateful that I have a bed and that we have private health insurance for our little boys.

Day 22 and today I'm featuring one of my favorite moves from Total Body Core. This chest building exercise works actually works everything. You must be 100% present in order to complete this properly. Here's a tip for lowering your legs without raising your back off the floor. I squeeze my tush as I lower my legs to prevent them from touching the floor. When I squeeze my butt, I engage my abs too and that helps with control. If your core is not strong enough, I suggest adding a slight bend to your legs and not lowering them down as much as I am. Do what you can with great form!
These compound movements are so effective! In case you're wondering, I'm using 15-pound dumbbells.
I worked 80ish hours last week, so I haven't rested much. I also didn't have much time to make hearty leg day meals for today, so I ate under my macro goals.
After lifting (suffering while doing so) and then almost dying doing 20 minutes on the treadmill (walking at an incline 🤣), I was hangry. Husband decided we should drag all our old carpet to the curb for garbage pickup instead of eating first after the gym. 😤
Long story short, my tongue made sweet, sweet love to this beautiful short rib burger. 👅

🎶All about that Banza, that Banza, no trouble 🎶 (Megan Trainor anyone?! 😜) Trying to be punny but my phone keeps correcting it to puny (I think it's trying to hint that I need to make some gains 💪💪). But in all seriousness, this dinner was #deliciousandnutritious , as is my motto (and apparently 87,000 other people that use that hashtag). I knew I wanted some form of pasta tonight so I let the bf choose between zucchini noodles, pappardelle, and @eatbanza chickpea pasta, and guess what he chose?! The chickpea pasta shells! For a boy that used to refuse to eat beans or legumes, this was a huge RD victory 🙌. So long story short, we made @eatbanza with pesto, garlic basil broccoli, with parmesan and basil sprinkled on top. And it was lip-smacking delicious 😋

Went to @wholefoods to buy all the Perfect Bars before they go off sale tomorrow and we bought so many they gave us the Best bar for free, so here's my review:
Hard when refrigerated as bought, softens quickly though. The texture is soft yet sort of taffy-like but the chocolate and coconut flavors are very strong. Not quite the "best ever" though 😂 7.5/10

The MOMENT you truly believe you are beautiful, perfectly made, and happy with yourself is the moment you SHOW UP in that way. You start to have compassion for yourself, treating yourself with respect, and attracting more of that energy into your life.
You are perfect. Love yourself in this moment, right now.
