Stretching is so important yet we rarely take the time to do it post session. I see it all the time with my members AND I know I don't do it nearly enough. Try to take an extra 5 minutes post session to at least give those most worked areas a good stretch. It helps with muscle recovery and also assists in better performance for your future training.
And yes, it looks like my head is attached to the end of my knee.

This is an AMAZING stretch as it opens the front pecs and upper traps, which will allow for a deeper range of motion for the rotator cuff. Be mindful of you neck and keep it relaxed, this will also yield a slight stretch on the neck. You can also be a super stretcher and hit your hamstrings as well! Enjoy!
Remember to hold the stretch for 3-5 mins on each side! Stretches should be done on a rest day or AFTER working out!

The first nude picture I ever posted on instagram was a goddess fold in black and white. My best friend @alicia.cakes had been doing these beautiful shirtless sunday posts. I loved the idea and wanted to join in, but as someone who was bullied and body shamed for a good portion of her life, putting my body out there for everyone to judge was terrifying. I didn't feel beautiful or fierce like the other participants looked to me. .
She finally convinced me to try, and after I hit the button to post I almost puked. I was literally shaking. I almost took it back down right away... And every day for weeks after. So why keep posting them? Because I have this thing about facing fears, and this was me facing a big one. And you know what? The majority of responses I have gotten over the last couple years have been very positive. The kind, encouraging people that are a part of this IG yoga family have helped me learn to love myself more, to love my body with all of it's imperfections, and I have even had people tell me that my posts have inspired them to love themselves more, which means more to than I can possibly express here. .
That is why I post nude. And I will continue to do so despite the haters and horndogs ✌
