No matter the time or the age when you have passion to accomplish a goal, write it down make it plain and clear and put in the time, dedication and effort knowing that all things will work out in your favor if you keep using towards the mark! I never would have believed I would be going back to school and first semester Of classes I would have a 3.45 G.P.A.... When you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything!!! When I was in high school I can say I took it for granted. Now that I am wiser I have learned that starting something that you are passionate about and when you have the determination not to fail because you want better for yourself, your family and the generations to come; you will do whatever it takes to make it happen even if it means you have sleepless nights to get it done!!! You will make things happen and by giving your dreams to the creator above He will assist you in your dreams to make them a reality!!! All you have to do is include Jesus in on the plan, He has your back, He will assist. he will not leave you nor forsake you for He is with you every step of the way!!! Haven't been able to sleep all weekend...couldn't put my finger on why until tonight. Two weeks from today is the start of school. My kids are excited about seeing friends, seeing favorite teachers, and not excited about homework 😜
I, on the other hand, am a mess. The first day of school this year is also our first year in middle school. This means new teachers to educate, to advocate to, to win over, to get them to see the bright light in my child.
It's not easy conversations, some teachers are amazing while others are barely present. But I keep reminding myself of how much I have learned, about the system, about my child, about his amazing potential...and that gives me strength and confidence to push on...and maybe even to get some rest tonight.
