Guru Nanak Dev Jee's inclusive path [Side Note: Artwork by RGXSingh who goes by that Instagram handle. Check out his artwork and support Sikh Artists! Wonderful work by the talented Veer!] Throughout the years, decades and centuries that the Sikh Panth has existed, in many respects of our lives, conduct and behaviour, we have become more judgemental and expect an extremely high standard of conduct at ALL times from our Sikhs, with no room for human failure. For many of us, this 'tough love approach' is too much to bare and many of our brothers and sisters leave Sikhi as a result. However, is there room for human failure and moments of weakness on this path?
We've all heard the story of Kauda Raksh! A beast of a man, a cannibal who nourished himself in the blood and guts of other men & had his eyes on Bhai Mardana Ji. This beast of a man, this man, whose actions would cause him to be known as the lowest among men, even he was saved by the grace of Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Even as his life wasted away eating the flesh of his fellow human brethren, Guru Nanak saved him from the pits of blood and guts and brought him into the fold of Sikhi, into the fold of his own love.
Guru Nanak Dev Jee's love extends so far and wide that even dishonest and thieving men like Sajjan Thug, who had no problems killing people, were saved by Maharaj.
So the next time you feel as though you do not deserve the love of your Guru, you do not deserve the crown on your head, the alliance to the house of Guru Nanak in your heart, remember, Guru Sahib even loved and reformed cannibals and murderous thieves. If they deserve Guru Sahib's love, then so do you. #Sikh#Khalsa#Art#Love#GuruSahib#Weakness#Strength#Mercy#Joy#Singh#Kaur
History is still being addressed and rectified in modern society today. This triggers searching even further into our own history about those who struggled and chose to fight for a stand as they were proud to be Panjabi. In today’s melting pot of society, we embrace and accept individuals for who they are and what they bring to the table. However, the key is melting pot. This is great to be open and accepting but we want to allow for some preservation as well. Yes embrace new experiences but at the same time, ensure that you understand where you came from and what your culture is all about.
Our goal is to constantly innovate and push boundaries with our brand to educate, inspire and spark much needed conversations. To learn more, visit VEERHOOD.COM. We ship WORLD WIDE.

When my children will grow up and move away to start their lives, it's important that @gsingh_uk and I are not looking at one another and thinking, 'who are you?' 🤔. Life is busy. With children, it's exceptionally busy and we can forget that before the relationship and dynamic we have with the children was formed, there was the one between us. @gsingh_uk and I never spent any time together before marriage (as I think is best)... not even to discuss anything to do with our wedding... so our relationship began the day we got married and then MK came along very quickly. What I am trying to say is, spend time together without your children. Talk about your desires and fears, about God and your longings. Discuss your failings and where you can help one another and clear the tensions of everyday scwobbles that mean nothing and move towards happiness. (By the way, me writing this does not mean we have a perfect marriage... but we are trying with Gods Grace) ❤️ Let's see @gsingh_uk beat August date night in September 😜#datenight#marriageishardwork#buildandmaintainlove#makeguruthefoundation#talkaboutit#westminsterabbey#casablanca#lunacinema#datenightonceamonth#sikhdad#inspiration#blessed#love#singh#kaur
