A huge thanks to @therunningstore for having my fave pair of brooks in stock yesterday! They made today's miles so much better than Tuesday's miles. @brooksrunning please don't change your adrenalines. Ever.
Not so happy that the humidity is back, but today's miles flew by. Prolly cause I was listening to my sis , @danafraedrich , yammer on about all the things. :-) love ya sis! Thanks again for talking to me during my runs.
No alarm clock battle this morning because I forgot to set it. But, I still have to do my run. 11.1 aerobic miles this morning. Muscles are sore since I've been racking up miles the past 2 weeks. Running on sore legs has been the story here. Hopefully, it's a good mind training especially in the latter stages of a marathon.
I don't do weekday mornings... Normally!... Well because I'm busy trying to will my tired body out of atrophy to go to work! 😄 🤣
Today tho it was a necessity because work involved travelling and I wouldn't have time this evening... So was up at six ~ out the door before seven ~ finished run and cool down before eight! ✊🏼👊🏽 My brain uttered "WTF!!!" several times and "this wasn't on the bloody game plan" 😂
And it was lucky I did - work over ran and I'm still trying to get home by trains 🚂 and automobiles 🚗 (no planes tho)... ETA... About 10.30 tonight 🌛 if I'm lucky!!! 😵
Feel Good Inc brings you Run Happy (and it's been a lonnnnng day... But 4.5 miles so all good 👍) 😉
Does running make everyone happy or just me???😅😅😅
I learned to enjoy all my runs (good or bad). I don't freak out anymore if I have a bad run...or don't get too excited if I have a great run. Just very happy to be able to run. Got a nice 13 mile run this morning with a 20 minute tempo towards the end at around 6:05 pace. Let's keep working hard so we can keep improving!!! #tsfm#sfmarathon#sanfrancisco
Short #run in the sunshine tonight. Really couldn't be bothered as have seriously bad DOMS from #bodyattack last night (brutal class!) but forced myself to go out & feel better for it 😊 #stressrelief#runnershigh
I haven't had a gym membership now for a few months and other than the classes, I am really not missing it. Wish I had a personal yoga teacher and circuits trainer to come and get me back in to my peak fitness, but right now, I love running and cycling outdoors. I try to make sure I fit 20-30 mins of strength training in a few times a week. You just need a little bit of space indoors or outdoors. Right now I do a mix of burpees, squats, tuck jumps, press ups, mountain climbers, full planks, side planks, ending with a couple 200m sprints and repeat 3 or 4 times.
It's my favorite day of the week.... DATE NIGHT! Which is always a little extra motivation to sweat because 🍷 🥂 🍺. Today I chose 6 miles at 8am with @shayna.lee07. While waiting until 8am to run in the heat with the stroller might not yield the best paces, it allows me to kill a couple of birds with one stone:

Break up my otherwise long days ✅ •
I don't have a run coach and never have. While I could certainly benefit from more structure, I'm going to mimic what I've done that has worked for me previously: 4 days, tempo runs, long progressive run, easy run. And if all else fails... just run and enjoy! 🤷🏼♀️ any suggestions?
