the shedding will occur. it'll occur constantly. we shed to get that extra weight up off of us in order to fly. but, after the shedding: allow your SELF time. time for the processing. the healing. time to yourself and with yourself. then re-emerge. with all that weight up off you. carrying only the load that you wish to carry. reemerge. and be prepared... to fly. / my first book, anonymous, is available at the link in my bio!

Thoughts flutter my, mind like butterflies on the first day of spring. Words that I have been collecting all winter, dreaming about us. Conversations we have had, have kept me warm, melting away the chill that once made love to my bones. .
Thoughts flutter my mind like tropical butterflies, roaming around palm trees. I lay on fresh cut green daydreaming. About when our lips will touch. Our perfect first kiss. Then I see it, see us sitting on a park bench under the moonlight. And with that first magical spark, every sleeping light, lights up the dark. .
Thoughts flutter my mind, like butterflies kissing leaves under the sunshine. I feel the warmth consume my cheeks as I imagine us holding hands, walking side by side. And when I look up, when our eyes lock, I can taste our love in the afternoon, as the sun sets and the moon comes out to play. .
My mind flutters with butterflies dancing around us, because you and I are like that first day of spring. When time stands still, our heart skips a beat and love blooms while our souls make love. @m.firechild

Between the dusk of a summer night
And the dawn of a summer day,
We caught at a mood as it passed in flight,
And we bade it stoop and stay.
And what with the dawn of night began
With the dusk of day was done;
For that is the way of woman and man,
When a hazard has made them one.
Arc upon arc, from shade to shine,
The World went thundering free;
And what was his errand but hers and mine -- #williamhenley#poem#poetry#poemoftheday#dusk#sunset#beach#nature#clouds#sky#marthasvineyard#summer
If a person who I'm trying to get to know (whether it's romantic, or not) shows me negative behavior of any sort I completely remove myself from the situation. Once you accept it the first time it's an invitation for these types of games to continue. I do not condone gossip, rudeness, lying, or anything of that nature. I know that if I allow myself to get closer to them it'll be way harder for me to be able to move on afterwards. Therefore I protect myself from the very beginning. I don't play games I know I'll lose. Not because im a sore loser, but because an emotional loss is much greater than any other. And by realizing this, I'm already winning. #druanthony 🖤
“If you’re dating a writer and they don’t write about you — whether it’s good or bad — then they don’t love you. They just don’t. Writers fall in love with the people we find inspiring. If you don’t set my pen on fire, how are you going to set my bed on fire?”-Jamie Anne Royce
