I have a deep appreciation for artists and their craft. The sculptor, the poet, the painter, the musician. (The art of pizza making is not excluded by any means.) For seeing the process that goes on from start to finish, I notice the depth of work that goes into this craft.. and one can taste it too. The labor and love, from handmade dough, worked by hand, shaped and kneaded, the quality of ingredients, the coming together of flavors, the fire, the heat and magical reaction, the transformation. We find art forms in everything if we pay attention. And what delineates the form as art or the mundane is how we apply and touch and work on a certain idea or creation, applying our variety of ways and creativity and attention to bring it to life.. in other words, giving special care to the craft. This is what separates the artist from the imitator. Our art, whatever it may be, contains a multitude of individualities, entities that are calling forth manifestations which can never be repeated...and are beyond calculation. Our expression of beauty is founded on inspiration. What draws us to our craft?
Made a sweet pizza with nutella, rainbow sprinkles, marshmallows and Oreo shavings. Made a mistake of adding banana slices which resulted in them being (just a little) burnt. 🤦🏻♀️ #pizzamaking#minioven#waytoocute#sundayfunday
Dolly is back from her Nandy's after a sleepover with her Uncle Sammy! She made pizzas, went out for lunch, went to soft play, played 100 different games and had basically slept all day 😂 tomorrow is a day of fun for me and my girl at home with as many activities as I can pack into one Sunday 👯 #happySaturday#beautifulgirl#concentratingface#precious#pizzamaking
