Banana Mocha Oatmeal Cookie! My boyfriend challenged me to make one big cooking instead of several small ones, and it actually worked! Childhood dream come true, except childhood me would not like this healthy cookie. So crazy how we can train our taste buds to change. We ate the whole thing and it was amazing- let me know if you want the recipe 😊
When you've got a lot of strawberries & some free time....this happens 🍓🍓🍓
This is just porridge, piled with all of the things....berries, banana hoops, quinoa puffs & banana stars ✨. .
I'm off to work (yes, at 3:15am! 😲😲😲) we have the color run on in the park today, so I need to be there to make sure my staff all behave 🤣
How are you spending your Weekend? 🍓
Homemade oat milk. Easy. Tasty. Creamy. Wholesome. Nutritious. Inexpensive. All good things!
I tried store bought oat milk for the first time last week and the kids and I all liked it. I thought I would try a homemade version and it turned out great! I love this milk because there is no soaking required, which is needed for nut milk. I whipped this up in about five minutes. I used it in my pancake recipe this morning and it worked great. I didn't strain mine, because I like the thicker, nuttiness of the oats but you you can strain it through a cheese cloth or thin kitchen towel if you'd like. This is an awesome dairy alternative without the fillers, thickeners, sugars and preservatives that store bought non-dairy milks can have. And SO much cheaper! Double tap if you'll be trying this ❤️❤️❤️ Recipe:
1 cup steel cut or rolled oats
3 cups water
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 pitted dates or 1 TB maple syrup
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend on high until oats are pulverized. *DO NOT blend for too long or the milk will heat up and create this gooey, gelatinous mess. 30-45 seconds of blending should be enough.
Pour into and airtight container and store in fridge for 3-5 days.
