Love doing burn-out supersets after a workout. Superset of calf raises with toes out facing, toes forward, toes pointing in, and lastly single leg! Feeling the burn with this! We love challenging and pushing ourselves at all times 🤙🏻
First time putting it all together this offseason and the Speed group threw down some PB's on Friday!
These 40 yard dashes culminated a 12 week acceleration, speed and multidirectional movement training cycle. The goal of this program was to improve the athletes on field movement ability and athletic performance not to solely prepare them for testing. The focus was on short area acceleration both linearly and laterally as well as top speed and multidirectional movement efficiency.
Every single guy ran a personal best and I was not surprised at all based on the drastic improvements these guys have made within their movement skills over the past 12 weeks. The focus was and will always be on mastering the BASICS. We used nothing fancy, no gimmicks, no ladders, no pre planned cone drills, very little equipment just good old fashioned quality movement that was practiced over and over until it become not just a movement done in a drill, but an actual movement skill that they can access on the field.
As much as these guys learned from me this off season i learned the most from them. My approach this off season was much different than the past and it was an invaluable learning experience for me as a coach this year.

This hill sprint format left me completely gassed! I took on the day strong! My motivation is out the door lately! The key is to find something that motivates you and keeps you going! I am a personal trainer and a ball of energy! I enjoy hitt training and anything that puts me into the exhaustion phase.
I am always healthy and meal prep and no longer count macros since I know them by heart!
In the past few weeks I found a whole new appreciation for fitness than I already have. I now push myself on a whole new level. I push myself to literally exhaustion on pull ups now! I love the feeling that my body can literally not do another rep. I am in hopes that the iron man or a Crossfit competition will be next goal. My eye is on the prize and I'm not giving up!

So, I know today isn't #TransformationTuesday or anything cool like that but it's no secret that I decided to compete "one more" time. This morning I hit an all time low on the scale and it took all I had not to cry happy tears because, I don't want to break my #TeamNoTears streak! 😂🤣. Haha. I need to 100% brag on my coach, @fitnessking11286 , for everything he has done for me. He has been there for me during so many different phases of my life, always there for a swift pep talk, tough love, and the honest truth ... crazy how much changes in my life in a mere 2 years. But, he's worked with my body, figuring out what works, what's going on with me, understanding there was something wrong! Now we know unfortunately, I have IBS. (TMI? Sorry, just being real here) There IS something wrong with my belly. I now follow the #fodmap diet and that has helped a TON with the inflammation. Working through all that, we have been in prep for about 8 months, and almost 40 pounds later we are rounding out this prep for the @knoxclassic and I couldn't be more proud to be one of the #FitnessKingCrazies !
