We think it's safe to say The Furlong has the most amazing customers who throughly spoiled our brilliant land lady for her birthday ! Thankyou to everyone who brought in cards and gifts and made the day so special 💕🥂 #muswellhill#birhday
It's always daunting to me first day back being leg day... I took a couple of days off training over the weekend as I had a slightly sore back. Coming back today I wasn't quite feeling up to it on the way to the gym, however after I got started I was able to keep going and get myself motivated! Doing the leg press here at 297.5 Kgs 4 sets of 8. Working on getting my knees a little closer to my chest, taking it easy as that is one thing that has cause lower back pain in the past but it's getting better! #gym#puregym#muswellhill#workout#legday#fitspo#motivation

Some people can say this affirmation confidently with belief from within and that's amazing because you should trust your natural instinct to give birth. Your body is so finely designed and your instinct will lead you! 👍
But I know some may struggle to really believe this one when they say it. And the two sticking points can be 'trust' and 'instinct' 😬
In order to 'trust' you have to be confident in your body's natural ability to give birth and also need to replace all the negative images of birth that you see / hear with more positive ones. Hypnobirthing can give you this confidence and release your fears ✨
In order to follow your 'instinct' you need to hear and feel it. Instinct can be a word many people feel quite detached from. I remember when I had my first baby and everyone said follow your instinct but all I could initially hear / feel were the words from books I'd read and the conflicting advise that every tom dick and harry was giving me. I didn't know how to listen to my instinct.
In birth / pregnancy people's worries and fears can over power their natural instinct to give birth. By releasing fears with Hypnobirthing and using mindfulness to quieten the chattering / worrying mind, you can go within and follow your body's lead. It will tell you exactly what it needs - to be upright, to feel safe, dim lights, soft touch, movement, stillness etc ✨
The more you learn about birth and prepare, the more you will trust the natural process and the more you will follow your body's instincts to give birth naturally ✨
Tonight is my last night being a yummy non-mummy in Muswell Hill.
Sam made me this for Xmas a few years ago - it has Muswell Hill at the top and Deptford at the bottom and the joint views we could see from our flats in the middle. Now we share the same slightly less breathtaking view (of Lewisham Library) but I'm already very fond of my new people watching spot and so very happy to be back South.
Snoozing on the sofa after a fun day at @yourallypally and the Farmers Market. I had lots of admirers and friends, which makes mum very proud! She loves showing people what staffies are like. I was even treated to a new @hurttacollection coat on the way home ❤️🐶
