In the process of making my room more convenient in terms of crafting and came across this, something I did a good few years ago, probably when I was about 18 or so. Those of you who are super #OneTreeHill fans will recognise the quote 🙂
BY ME POETRY FEATURED POET ✍🏻️
@awriterscanvas "The light in our living room is on. The silhouettes of my mother and father are absolutely still, and it almost seems like they’re dead. I wonder sometimes if they are. Ghosts in roaming bodies."
Words to live by ✌🏼... I just had to close my eyes and remind myself to stop dedicating my precious energy towards thinking about things and tasks I have to do that haven't happened yet. In this busy new normal, so many professionals get swept along and wrapped up. It's taken me ages but sometimes the answer is in the little things. Make a purposeful effort to switch off. For me that's in my walk to/from work, reading a book in bed, writing, playing guitar, exercising. Would love to hear how some of you find ways to capture the elusive "gap" in thought #slowdown#work#findingquiet#alternatemindset#feelbetteralready#lovetowrite
