This World Photography Day lets Go Green so we don't have to depend on photographs to teach our grandchildren what forests looked like.🌳📷 Do your bit. How can you start you ask me? Start by switching off the light when you leave the room and creating a recyclable waste category in your domestic waste disposal unit.
This photo was taken today at my second home and college town of Manipal using my phone camera☺
Storm is coming...another view of the Netravati in Mangalore. The rains have been non stop and I have been spending my day hopping from one traditional eatery to another, trying not to binge too much. Being a vegetarian I am most fascinated by the local delicacies here. The Taj Mahal is one of my favourites established in the 1920s. I wanted to head to the beaches and head to the old harbour but it rained so much that I probably have to come another day here to do some beach hopping. Right now, am waiting for my gadbad at Ideal Ice cream parlour, but more on that later...how was your day ?
Day 2. Still in Mangalore #Karnatakacoastaldrive#happyworldphotographyday#worldphotographyday
When nature decides to get all dramatic as monsoons approach. The husband and I are driving through Karnataka along the Western Ghats. The idea is to hit the Karavalli coast through Tulunadu and Malnadu. My plans are completely fluid as we have no idea when we are back. Meanwhile we are just Oding on sceneries like this.. Day one...we have just reached Mangalore from Bangalore via Hassan and Saklespur.
Somewhere in the Western Ghats in Karnataka..
Cruising over the Himalayas and spotting Kanchenjunga - the third highest peak in the world was an experience in itself. It made my trip to Bhutan even more special. Stay tuned for more posts on Bhutan.
