It wasn't good enough to brake the tape (4th overall, 2nd AG), but I had a great swim for reasons far beyond just the time, my strongest bike to date power wise, and although I faded hard on the run which cost me,I have learned a lot! 12 more weeks to get ready for the big dance 😳 congrats @robyn.hardage on the W!
I loved the ever so challenging and relentless Ironman Lake Placid race course, but I am super disappointed in the draft fest I witnessed on the bike and the lack of draft marshals out on the course - I saw zero! Gotta be more ready next time to deal with it all.
There however wasn't a lack of sooooooo so many people cheering for me literally all around the entire course and sharing the course with my athletes and many friends was absolutely amazing! They all kicked ass and either PRed or finished their first IM! @powers_cha @luckylindzer @jmb83cjk @dellajen (You will get your chance!) I am all SO proud of you!

Ok guys I'm recommitting to BOTH my workouts and my NUTRITION!
This weekend I had some epic fails in my nutrition and it's got me so bloated didn't help that AF was in town but I can't let that be my excuse!!
I had WAY too many carbs and now that my test group started up I have to commit to the way I'm eating too! Because let's face it getting healthier starts from the inside!
Getting control of eating habits is hard As F*** sometimes but I got my crew behind me cheering me on while I'm cheering them on! So I have to give it my all!
Time to look at food as Fuel not just habit or boredom!! I have my food guides time to focus on them for the next 3 weeks to get my best results with my peeps!!😎👊
