Humayun's Tomb..... Ps :- Use full Brightness to enjoy the photograph.
Recently, I have been drawn towards black and white photography very much. I haven't figured out the exact reasons but I feel that bnw have an extra meaning to them somehow, they even turn a monotonous image much exciting and glamorous (totally, personal opinion).
Whatever be the reason, I was enjoying shooting in bnw quite much, was able to focus more on composition and textures and lights and the results are much fulfilling for me as well.
What you guys think of bnw?
Who is your favourite bnw photographer?

Let's have a conversation 🙋
I am quite known to be a rebel, breaking the stereotype, not ticking off the checklists at the right age. Our society expects us to tick off the checklists at the right age and then only you are supposed to have a good life, otherwise you are considered the black sheep of the family and one who is unsettled in life. So, when I started travelling, travelling as a way of life, my extended family and peers assumed I would always be the "unsettled one". It's again my way of rebel, quitting so called respectable job and running after some drug. They assumed and still believe I am crossing my expiry date. My expiry date for ticking off the boxes right, to get married, to have kids, to have a house, a car, some more assets.
Well, I have heard this time and over again and this will continue.
But one person who has supported me through all my decisions and allowed me to make my choices is my mom. She has sacrificed a lot for me and that's why I am where I am. I live my life on my chosen path and I owe this to her.
What I don't explain to the society but is as implicit as my breathing is travelling is my choice, not a rebellion. I am on the move, living out of suitcase for days, but it's got my heart settled than ever before. It has calmed me as a person. I used to be a hurricane, it made me a breeze. I used to be high tide, it made me soft waves that make your toes curl. I used to be a city that you would explore for two weeks. It changed me. I am a home. I am anchored. Moreover, travelling has made me appreciate my roots. No matter where I go, I get back home, falling in love with it every time. .
