Crushed a super late leg workout last night. When time is not in your favour, you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. 🤷🏻♀️Everyone has the same 24 hours... 🕰 it's up to YOU what you do with it.
Happy Hump Day lovelies!!!! 💕 xoxo 😘
Most won't read this but if you do i thank you 😁
As I am sitting here, I'm thinking about the fact I'm moving up to London in the next few days. Which to me is absolutely massive, and it may not be to others. Everyone is different and I am extremely excited and nervous all together.
I just want to talk about opportunities and the point being this...
All of us are presented with numerous opportunities every day of our lives. Opportunities to create, to build, to connect or just to love someone along the way. And yet we usually miss them. Why? Is it because we're too busy, too tired, too...something? Maybe. What I really believe happens is that we are simply not prepared to see them, much less take advantage of them.
Preparation is essential in everything, from just doing something to the best of your ability or even just to 'seeing'' these opportunities. There are a few simple simple things that can go a long way....believing in yourself, take responsibility, ask good questions often, take action and most importantly have a clear picture in your mind where you want to be 👌
This picture as much as just being a fave of mine, serves as a reminder that i had an opportunity and I went for it and I prepared and did everything I could 💪 -

😂 hey, I'm guilty too of using the word "thick" to describe my situation when I've put on a few pounds / the body fat % is on the rise 🙋🏽 Like - daaaamn gurl you got tickkk 💁🏽
But it's important to be real with yourself & know where to draw the line.
Yes, it's important to "love yourself" in all shapes & sizes, states & situations ... but I don't believe it's necessary to "love your body" in order to be a happy/healthy person. Don't lie to yourself just cause it's cool right now to "love your love handles" or whatever the hell they're saying these days 😂 it's OKAY to not love your body. It's OKAY to not be satisfied & want to work to make change.
I'm a huge advocate in being 100% real with yourself - being able to put yourself in check & know when you're not putting in the effort towards achieving your ultimate goals. To be hard on yourself when you're being lazy. To give yourself a reality check or pep talk when you need that extra push.
Not everyone gets a coach to wake up to & go to bed with - so it comes down to you.
Calling yourself "thick" just to make yourself feel better is fine (again, guilty 🙋🏽), but in the end, always be honest with yourself & be hard on yourself. If you have a goal & it's important to you- don't let yourself off the hook & don't make excuses for yourself.
And if you're in any way offended by this post - then you totally missed the point 🎯
Sooo the geeky smile on my face is because my leg is 80% healed, meaning no surgery!! YAY!! Just means that my road to recovery is going to be a little while longer. Another follow up in a couple months time to see if it's fully healed. But in the meantime, I've been told to really push the physio side of things so that when the break is healed I should be able to get back on full duties shortly after. I am one happy woman!!
