"Success is more often derived, not from your arms and legs, but from your heart and head." -Deborah Norville
It's amazing how much being grateful can *give you the power to de-stress
*help motivate you to workout or get started on something you've been putting off
*make you want to serve others
*and have more patience in general.
I needed this book in my life right now.
Day 60 of #100daysofhandstands
How can we change something within ourselves if we continue to do things all the same? Along this handstand journey, I have kept consistent with getting upside down everyday. However, I kept doing the same things over and over and saw little progress.
On the other hand, every time I attempted something new, or slightly different I get an “aha” moment and feel something deeper unlock within me (or at least I can see there is a lock!). In order to see progress, or at least change, we must be willing to get out of our comfort zone, past the fears. Is not easy, but it can be as simple as just having the will to try.
What are you willing to try?
I've been so tired. Woke up late today. Didn't want to workout. But hubby and a fellow coach pushed me to get it done. Halfway through workout one the mail person dropped these on the porch. I wouldn't go get it til I finished. My little incentive😊. Finished workout and did core work. Now to open my presents!

"This was taken in Zanzibar during a riding tide on the way to The Rock restaurant. You get there by either catching a boat or swimming, and I chose the latter because why not? It's not everyday you get to visit a restaurant on a rock in the Indian Ocean."
