Dreaming is important, but it isn’t enough to make your wishes come true.
Based on twenty years of research in the science of motivation, Dr. Gabriele Oettingen developed a powerful method called WOOP that has been proven to help people accomplish their goals. WOOP presents a unique and surprising idea: The obstacles that we think most impede us from fulfilling our wishes can actually help us to realize them. In research studies, WOOP has helped people reduce stress and increase work engagement, find integrative solutions to problems, and improve time management.
About the WOOP process:
1. Start with a clear mind.
WOOP is a technique that involves free thoughts. You should be relaxed, focused, and willing to clear your mind.
2. WHAT IS YOUR WISH?
What is your most important wish or concern? Pick a wish that feels challenging but that you can reasonably fulfill within the next four weeks.
3. WHAT IS THE BEST OUTCOME?
If your wish is fulfilled, where would that leave you? What would be the best, most positive outcome? How would fulfilling your wish make you feel?
Identify your best outcome and take a moment to imagine it as fully as you can.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MAIN INNER OBSTACLE?
What is it within you that holds you back from fulfilling your wish? It might be an emotion, an irrational belief, or a bad habit. Think more deeply—what is it really?
Identify your main inner obstacle and take a moment to imagine it fully.
5. MAKE A PLAN
What can you do to overcome your obstacle? Identify one action you can take or one thought you can think to overcome your obstacle.

I'm trying to do things outside of my comfort zone, every day. I think it's so easy to get stuck and be comfortable in the day to day that we miss out on true happiness.

The desires of the heart are real.
In fact, it's the truest memo that lets you know that you still have a life to be lived.
But what happens when the desire comes and you don't know how to fully receive what you 'thought' you were ready for?
To fully enjoy the depth of the desire you want to happen--prepare in advance by taking steps in that direction day-by-day.
It could be a new job, a new business, wanting to be in a relationship, wanting to be married, wanting a different situation for yourself and/or your family....
Whatever your desire is...prepare in advance to receive it.
P.S. ...Though it's taking what seems like a looonnngggg time, keep preparing and waiting for the desire to come.

In order to remain sane, we need to be at reasonable peace with our actions and beliefs. The easiest way to do this is to blame the 'bad stuff' on others and live on as if we are just a victim of circumstance. There is no growth in that.
When I was training in Shamanic healing practices, we spent time connecting with mountain energy. We recognize that mountains are majestic beings who are closest to the Divine realms above, who hold immense energy of power beneath them, and who can whisper to us the wisdom of the ages. As we landed in Oregon I caught my first glimpse of Mt Hood - one of the most spectacular mountains I’ve ever connected with. Each time I was in view of Mt Hood I felt an amazing energy arise and surge through me. And now I feel like I brought the energy of the Mountain home with me. I can go sit at Mt Hood in my meditation and be informed by her beautiful energy.
Where is there land that you relate to powerfully? What elements of nature awaken a deeper knowing inside you? We often overlook the healing energy of our Earth that we can connect to at any time. What is your favorite place to be in nature?
When I first started my health and fitness journey a few years ago, I was just trying to get healthy and in shape.. because I was sooo tired of being told I was "too skinny" and to "eat a cheeseburger". I had no idea it would become such a big influential part of my life. I had no idea it would become my passion & one of my main outlets of strength for every obstacle and challenge in my life. I had no idea i would eventually deeply desire to be able to give back what it has given me to every female I can possibly reach.
I was just trying to better my health and fitness and shut others up.. but eventually it became so much more. Because it helped me better myself in more ways than I ever imagined it could, and it made me feel better than I knew possible. It created a domino effect and every area - mind and spirit as well as body - began feeling better than ever and I felt more inclined to work on all the other parts of myself as well and self-love began flowing more easily.. which is so crucial in this society where self-love can be hard to find. This is why I am where I am today... wanting to create online challenge groups/accountability communities where women can experience this complete mind body and spirit transformation and the free flow of self-love, together with the love and support of other awesome women who want to better themselves as well. Because if I can help coach even one woman and help her start and go through the same journey and transformation I went through and help her find more free flowing self-love, that is fine by me. ✌🏼❤️💪🏼

Although we live in a world where we constantly have to encounter the illusion that the next best solution is JUST RIGHT FOR YOU, the truth is that there is no one fitness plan, no program, no practice or training RIGHT FOR EVERYONE.
There are many paths that can lead toward the same goal – a better body, more strength, balance and peace of mind, an improved Tennis or Golf game…
And there are various different and highly individual reasons for why something works for someone and not for you. A complex and mostly psychologically subconscious network of thoughts, beliefs, and habits (which we can call Mindset) are often the determining factor for why you might have fun AND success with one training and not with another.
So, that is why we don’t even have a chance to attain long term sustainable success or change with most of the cookie-cutter-out-of-the-box-solutions. It is doomed to fail right of the start. •
But I am looking for the people out there who are ready💪. •

Sometimes shit hits the fan. Sometimes, try as I might, I have the hardest time staying positive, seeing the bright side, or focusing on what I want versus the shit-storm I feel like I'm in. ⠀
This is when I give myself what I like to call The Human Hall Pass... The freedom to really feel bummed out, pissed, depressed or whatever other temporary emotion I may be going through at the moment. ⠀
Sometimes I choose to drink a bit too much, eat a little too much ice cream, blow off my work, or skip a workout. Or two. ⠀
Sometimes when we learn about taking care of ourselves, dig into personal development, and have an arsenal of tools, we forget that we're still human. There's definitely a time to take the low-road... it's just about being deliberate and intentional with your choices... and making sure the habits and "ways of being" in your life are in service of you. ⠀
Don't judge your process and honor what you need and just know the "right" answer will likely always be different. Sometimes it's a positive mantra and sometimes it's a whiskey-ginger. And, sometimes it's both.
Your perspective is a sum of your entire experience of life, and there are 7.5 billion living experiences underway right this minute. A truth to you is an untruth to many. Remember that almost all the certainties you deal in are actually uncertain in another context. What limitations do you have based on the way you see things..? How often do you validate these 'truths' by confirming them through another's perspective? 👊👌

. Truth is i have come to know , love is all there is.
But just remember you cannot give birth to a new self without destroying the old .
I want to speak to this because it's feeling highly relevant . it seems there is great discomfort and dis-ease around duality in the 'spiritual' community. .
in this current time especially there are many souls that are feeling triggered during this time for various reasons (that includes everyone one way or another) .
Allow me to walk you down a path ,
having been immersed in recent grief I had never experienced ;
the loss of my beloved suddenly 8 months ago. .. so here's the deal . i can tell you there are lots of emotions that have been coming up to be integrated that are not figures of light . .
Personally my go to in order to offset destruction & pessimism is an art of some sort.
But....i will not shame anyone for the feelings that are coming up to be healed .
this is something I continue to see in our community where people are too uncomfortable to sit with others grief, fear depression, discontent and shadow . .
healing is a process ...
i invite you to maintain your sovereignty during these times follow your souls calling, and if you are capable , offer your light. .
and if you are not , it's ok , i will still hold space for you . .

Kicking My Energetic Ass
I started having a great balance of sorts with Full Moons, Retrogrades and certain particular planetary/astrological positionings last year. I was flowing into the medicine and growing, even in all it's gut wrenching moments. .
This last round kicked my ass on so many levels and in so many ways that I don't feel fully myself. I'm feeling unfocused, blurry and scattered. .
I will continue to celebrate those fluid moments when they happen again, but without the 'neener-neener' attitude I hadn't realized I had.
For now, I accept when things break, fall apart, don't start, get hurt, don't work etc. by breathing, meditating, praying, napping, calling upon my soul tribe, crying, hiding out or doing what I can with what I know at that moment. .
I hope and wish all of you the best as well and hang in there. We'll all get through this for this too shall pass.

Vulnerable post alert. I've been stressed to the max lately and found out some really disappointing news yesterday. It hit me pretty hard and I cried those big alligator tears until my face felt swollen and puffy like I had shed a thick layer of my outer shell. I let myself cry all night, had a bubble bath, ordered takeout pizza and watched Netflix all night and woke up this morning knowing I wouldn't let it bother me anymore. I'm feeling better today but I wanted to share what stress looks like on me because physical reaction to stress is one of those things we don't talk about enough. I'm one of those people who somatically experiences stress and even had my tonsils and adenoids removed in college because my anxiety had gotten to the point to where I had tonsillitis or strep 7X my freshman year, 9X my sophomore year and was creeping on 10X my junior year when I finally saw a dr and then a therapist. Right now my face is inflamed so bad that it hurts to touch and even the thickest makeup won't cover it up. One of my niches involves helping others live more authentic truths so I wanted to authentically share something that's not "wrapped up in a pretty package with a bow on top" and just authentic. Yesterday I was on the way to see the amazing @launchwellnessaustin. I know I looked diaheveled but when she asked how I was I quickly respond with "I'm good". I paused and reflected on what I said and realized it wasn't authentic. Sure, I could have said things were fine and moved on but I vulnerably allowed myself to tell her the truth that things weren't fine and things actually really sucked right then. Sarah is an amazing person and therapist so obviously it led to something I really needed which was connection and it really helped me to move on today in my own authentic and real journey. I hope you all are able to courageously dare to do something authentic and real today even if it isn't pretty. When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable with people we trust, we connect in a way that lets us feel seen, heard and valued. And from all of this, we become stronger. 💪
