V tomto cviku se zaměříme na celé tělo (v těžší variantě cviku ještě dáme větší důraz na nohy a boky 😊)
- díky cvičení podle předchozích videí, vše zvládnete 🙏
Na začátku zkuste pouze variantu bez zvednuté nohy
- zafixujte ruce (lokty otočte směrem k vašim malíčkům ať správně zapojíte prsní svaly), ramena od uší a lopatky od sebe, podsaďte pánev, propněte nohy (hlavně zaberte na zadní straně stehen) a zpevněte bříško - stále se snažte tlačit pupík proti páteři (tak zajistíte, že se nebudete v zádech prohýbat) a dlaně jsou umístěné přímo pod rameny!!!
Pohyb: s výdechem skrz bříško se odtlačíme od dlaní a přesuneme těžiště na nohy (které jsou ale stále propnuté), s nádechem se vracíme do původní pozice lavice, kdy rameny můžeme jít přes zápěstí, naše těžiště tak přesuneme zpět na ruce a horní část těla
Pozor!!! Celý střed těla je zpevněný a pohyb je vedený skrz břišní svaly - zpevněné pánevní dno - soustřeďte se na svůj dech a pohybujte se v jeho rytmu...
Nejčastější chyby:
- prohýbání v lopatkách
- nezpevněné bříško
- celý pohyb je vedený horní částí těla a hlava mám zapadá mezi ramena
- nedržíme zpevněný zadeček a nohy
Takže se pokuste srovnat, co nejvíce, podle původního popisu a cvičte pouze tak dlouho, jak vydržíte být správně... Pak můžete přidat pohyb vaší nohy:
Celé tělo je zpevněné a snažíte se nevytáčet boky - v pozici, kdy je noha nahoře se boky trochu pohnou, takže se je, po celou dobu cviku, snažíte co nejvíce rovnat - pokud i v původní pozici máte nahnuté boky - tuto variantu cviku raději nedělejte!!!

It's not uncommon for most lifters to struggle at bottom of a squat, aka out of the 'hole'. Whether it's a mobility issue in the hips or ankles or a strength issue in the glutes, the box squat is great for increasing force production and improving overall squat performance.
•
Keep proper squat form as you lower with control down to a box set up at parallel or just below. Relax your glutes and legs for a moment before rapidly contracting and pushing through your heels back up to the starting position.
•
Do NOT let go of your core or roll back on your pelvis.

It was so lovely taking the wonderful staff of @the_living_well_studio through a workshop on the Functional Footprints. As a young dancer, there were few ballet classes where I didn't hear "Charissa - turnout your legs!!" as a correction. It's etched in my brain! I found it so challenging to actually turn out my legs due to stiffness in my hips, but also because it was really difficult to understand what 'turnout' actually was, or what it felt like. Teaching dance students to understand and demystify turnout is a real passion for me now, and these Functional Footprints have been a valuable tool in this process. It's hard to cheat by using the feet or ankles when the axis of rotation allows for minimal weight transference. MONDAY MOBILITY

These two super basic movements are really useful for targeting a stiff (and sore) lower back. 
Knee rolls to either side help to target spinal and hip rotation while the knee hugs encourage basic hip movement in the flexion direction. 
Both of these simple & safe exercises can also be used as a quick warm up for the lower back especially for people who may feel stiff when they first get out of bed.

Aim for 10-15 rotations each side followed by 10-15 knee hugs on each side.
