You all have become my extended Family of the past year or so. I have shared with you my journey of Entrepreneurship....the good and the bad. I am honored today to share with you publicly that the Company I founded, Blackstone Medical, has made the prestigious Inc. 5000 Magazine list! This puts my company's growth among the elite group of companies such as Under Armor, Go Pro, Zappos, Intuit and many more.
This is an emotional moment for me because it was only a few years ago, that I was just few days away from being bankrupt. I was fortunate enough to have people that believed in me, my business partner and my investors. Because of them, I was able to persevere.
However, the one person that never stopped believing in Me was Me. No matter what you are going through in your life today, never, ever, ever stop believing in yourself.

The sh*^ that makes your heart beat faster and your eyes glow when you talk about it, no matter if it's hiking, yoga, gardening, painting, sex, meditation, photography, going for walks, helping others - do that! Do it as often as you can. Because that's what life is all about. Creating as many passionate, happy moments as possible. Don't let anyone stop you from doing the things you love - not even yourself.
Today was a has been a hard one but I trained my little heart out even though I didn't want to because it's what I love and I have to achieve the goals I set out for myself. 🙏🏽💕
let me come out clean and share the reasons for my obsession with chicken😀.. Chicken is a good source of selenium, which is essential for protecting cells and supporting immune function.Niacin is also found in chicken and is a vitamin that helps your body use sugars and fatty acids more efficiently. Additionally, it is a part of normal functioning of enzymes and produces energy in all body cells.One serving of chicken also provides a lot of protein, more than half of what the average person needs in a day. Plus it has a high score on the Amino Acid Score, indicating that it is a high quality complete protein.
Another important vitamin found in chicken is vitamin B6, which helps your body make the nonessential amino acids used to make body cells. It also helps turn tryptophan into serotonin and niacin which is important for mental health. Vitamin B6 also contributes to producing chemicals including antibodies, hemoglobin and insulin.

After nearly seven years of excessively exercising and trying to eat properly I was feeling unmotivated because I didn't feel any healthier. Growing up I was very body conscious, at 5'9" I was taller and bigger than many guys and if i wasn't playing sports or eating properly I would gain weight very easily. I didn't like how I looked because I felt a pressure to keep up with the constant standards that society has about what it is to be stereotypically feminine and beautiful.
I've always loved working out but I started to appreciate and love it more when I was doing it for myself and my health and not for validation of someone else's beauty standards. I've met so many women who have experienced the same feelings I did and sometimes still do and it's extremely hard to battle that alone. Having someone guide you towards achieving your health and fitness goals is something I would recommend to everyone.
When I first went to DNA Fitness everyone was so nice and I was extremely comfortable. The trainers understand the difficulties of training and eating properly. They understand everyone is different and they accommodate your needs and help you become the best you can be. They are there every step of the way to help you through your ups and downs. After only 6 weeks of training, I've never been so confident or happy with my body and felt so healthy and I only want to keep going.
