Okay I had an opinion change, 2pacalypse is WAY better than Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... I had never really gotten into this album, but I expected it to be better because it has some of my favorite 2Pac songs (I Get Around, Keep Ya Head Up), but the rest of the album was nothing special. He took a step down lyrically, going for a more upbeat style of rap, which is fine but if he's gonna do that he needs good production to go with it, which he didn't have. This is by far the worst 2Pac album production wise. Some tracks have great production, but on some tracks the beats either drown out his voice or they just don't sound good. The best part about this album is the features. They all fit in well, and Ice Cube and Digital Underground were the best features in my opinion. Now overall, the sound of this album does not appeal to me. Pac's voice gets drowned out by bad production, and his voice does not sound developed at all, except tracks like Keep Ya Head Up where he actually sounds like the newer Pac. Bad sound = bad replay value, I only come back for a few tracks. Not a bad album, but could have been much better.

Now I know right behind Kendrick, ScHoolboy Q is the most popular member of TDE, but sometimes I feel like Q don't get the credit he deserves. He makes some of the best turn up music today imo, his music is so gritty and hard hitting. He's probably one of the best gangster rappers out there. Oxymoron is a great album and so is blank face, Q definitely not the most lyrically powerful member of TDE but he's definitely one of the most entertaining rappers to listen to today
